Bonanza, Or | I had a dairy that I used to ship to that tested every single load of hay that arrived. The problem was that the hay was fed before the test got back so I never could figure out what their nutritionist was trying to achieve. I don't know if it was the Dairy One lab but I do know it went to NY. With that particular lab the dryer the hay was the better it tested. You could take hay out of the same field that was 11% and it would test much better than the same hay at 14%. They never would test the whole lot and be happy with that test. | |
