| Central East Ill. is crazy- lots of ground going for $290 to 340. A bank in Dewit Co. put up a 180 for cash rent bids had 13 respondents over $300 I believe a $340/ac. got it. It appears that if a tenant dosen't have a really good relationship with the LL he should be prepared to pay quite a bit more to keep what he has.
I have never heard of so many tenants recieving notice of termination as this season. It appears that a lot of LL's felt like they were not treated equitably this past go round.
It will be interesting to see what lower corn prices may do. | |
