Southeast Missouri
Irrigated DP117 yielded 1230lbs....
Dryland DP117 yielded 880lbs.....
Overall don't like this variety....its a racehorse with unusual fruiting pattern due to its earliness....Tim, heard that some leaf trash grades were high as 6 with DP117....The Deltapine salesmen contend that this is not a "stressed" variety and needs to be under flood irrgation or pivot.....sounds like yours is under flood if its yielding 1000+lbs....Pretty sure everybody in the Mid-South had some problems with this variety, especailly on dryland or areas out of the pivot circle....i saw a report that said Missouri planted 20% DP117 this year, more than any cotton growing state....
