west Tennessee | we are delivering to Memphis today...... the spot market for my Milo is .30 cents over the December futures for yellow corn... which was 3.54 at lunch today...... so my net price on the spot market is 3.84 per bushel........ I have about 30% of my crop contracted at 4.08 per bushel........ both are excellent prices to me....... I feel that they are any way....... used to sell Milo for 3/4 the price of corn at delivery.............. Dave
so far its the best Milo crop we have ever had on poor old hills.... about 80 - 110 bushels........ same yield or better than our burnt up corn........... same area that my soybeans died in........... and my cotton yields were cut in half........ so looks like Ill try more Milo next year..........
