As said cut them carefully and windrow, I used the cardboard bins and a skid loader, a four by four by four box will weigh about 800#, price seems in line if you don't have to go far, I think my area is a sellers market due to drought, might get 20 cents wholesale, retail is 35-50 cents, or more for over 30#ers or unusual ones. I know a market up the street needs 100-200 tons because his crop failed.
Labor intensive no matter how you go about it, the skids are handy especially if the buyer can handle them that way too.
