Subject: RE: TAPPS or Exactrix

Spokane, WA
The Exactrix system was originally created out of a need to keep gas tubes from freezing, the solution was to keep NH3 under high pressure and in liquid form all the way to the injection point at the opener. Since liquid is easier to evenly distribute, port to port CV (coefficient of variation) is actually kept below %1. Also since it's not a gas/liquid mix shooting out the tube we get an evenly applied lineal band of product. All this adds up to needing less applied and getting the same yields, test plot data has proven %40 and more savings on NH3.
Now to make TAPPS we use two injection tubes, one for NH3 and one for APP/ATS 50/50 mix. APP being 10-34-0 and ATS being Thiosul/liquid sulfur. TAPPS is stabilized N, P, S, and Zn if you need it, and is all %100 crop available. Phos does not get tied up in soil calcium, a very desirable and understated attribute of TAPPS.
