NW Washington | In the Pacific NW where Exactrix is from NH3, 10-34-0 and Thiosul, liquid sulphur, are commonly applied to wheat ground with a rig locally called a "triple shooter". They put the NH3 and the liquid mixture behind the same shank, but in separate tubes. The main problem doing this is having the NH3 freeze up the liquid tube, but they have solved that by spacing the tubes and outlets apart. These fertilizer applicators are usually owned by the fertilizer company and either pulled by the grower or custom applied by the fertilizer dealer.
I am not familiar with what Exactrix is doing to put on N and P at the same time. All I know is that their stuff is expensive and their claims are pretty amazing.
