Tekonsha Mi. | I have been using DPF ahead of my corn for 3 years now after many side by sides, soil test, PSNT's, Tissue tests, I still can't seem to find a way to estimate a release rate for the N. Some one told me something about the carbon to Nitrogen ratio. I know the ratio but how dose that tell me a break down rate. I guess now that I am at the point where I have been using it long enough so I will be getting the benefits from my original appellations.
Also there is a new palletized version of this product. It weights half again as much as the non palletized (32 #/sq. ft. non palletized vs. 48 #/sq. ft. poetized). It is suppose to have a larger and more accurate spread pattern.
But my question is @$15 more per ton how exactly do I figure out how much more it is actually worth?
