Subject: figuring soybean yield by pod count

Hoisington, KS
Was wondering what the accuracy is from counting the pods, and counting plants per acre if that really corresponds with actual yield. This is 1st year no-till dryland beans . I counted 160 pods/plant with 3 beans/pod with a final population of around 60,000. If I'm not mistaken this variety had 3750 seeds/pound. Figuring 60 lbs/bushel, I'm coming up with a yield of 128. I'm messing something up because that can't be right.
