We seem to have more just laying down on its own this year than normal. I think it has as much to do with the 100+ temps we had after draining as it does head weight. Seems like its going down worse in the first places to dry up after we quit pumping. We've cut just over 650 acres so far this year and every field has had a few spots down but its all picked up easy and yielded good.

How many acres have you got down? If you got quite a bit a draper head or a stripper will walk circles around any conventional head. I run one of each and in most cases the stripper will outperform the macdon.
