Subject: RE: My first root pit(s)

Flandreau, SD

Looks good!

Heres ours a month ago at our plot day.  Strip tilled corn and beans.  had 16 inch inline ripper slots and spring strip tillage.  All low salt ferts and at least two shots of foliar feeding.  over 70 average pods month ago( counting two beans and up) some nodes had 5 or 6 pods.  I expect (hope) to have close to average 100 pods.  Have not checked after last foliar.  That is my 100 bu. bean plot, last year they froze off and went 60 bu. still best ever on that pivot.

Everything got hail right at tassel and I got some ears that have tipped back, not sure what to think.  I got tissue test on plants before and after foliar feeding,  beans showed a response but not the corn?

See what happens this fall, got my own combine so I can take my time to get the data done instead of one of our customers coming in and haveing to hurry up and get done.
