I haven't priced any for '08 yet, but my '07 corn averaged $51.50 per acre heavily weighted on traits and higher end genetics. It wasn't too long ago my average seed cost was about $30 per acre. I expect that they will get whatever the market will bear. I just wonder what is going to happen to corn seed prices if fertilizer inputs drive people away from corn on a large scale and the price of beans becomes more attractive.

Edit: I couldn't care less which company I purchase seed from as long as it nets me the most dollars.
