Biggest reason I switched to RR soybeans was the jump in prices of conventional soybean herbicides and the fact all the major companies put all their money into developing better yielding RR soybeans and nothing new in line for conventional soybeans. Most white hilum varieties around are alot more prone to phtytophora, white mold, etc and the yield in now behind RR soybeans and the premium shrunk too much for me because why take a risk when you might only make a few dollars more per acre.
