50 bu? I think I'll keep growing barley for grain (avg 90 bu this year) and corn for silage. There was a company from Western Canada with an ultra-early corn a few years back, you were supposed to grow it like small grains (solid seeding) and combine with a sickle head. Yeilded about 75 bu in a good year, but it couldn't compete with barley, the corn was to expensive to grow.
