Subject: Wheat after Wheat again?

I have never considered this before, not even for a minute. However, with the input costs for corn and price vs wheat, it's looking like it may be a viable option. I've got some wheat acres where it looks like the drought may have killed the Timothy out. Straw has been baled off all of it, no chemicals applied, so it would need a burndown to no-till. Is there anything with varieties that one needs to look for or avoid? This is not wet ground. Most of it is upland clays.

Also considering some wheat after corn. The stalks aren't that big so no-tilling is probably an option there too. I know that some viruses can be worse in wheat after corn. What other things should I be concerned about? We've done wheat and rye after corn for cover crops, but never for a seed crop.

Just thinking about what I need to be thinking about to see if this might just not work.

Thanks.
