I don't know how many bushels of beans you are talking about for temporary storage, but a couple of old govt. bins would not cost you much except for the concrete, and they hold about 3300 bus. I have a couple and for beans they work out just fine. I have seen them set on dirt with a tin floor set on sand with no power, no fan, no unloader and it works about as well for dry beans as anything else. Put an 8" tube in the bin at about a 15 degree angle with a sump hole in the middle, run the powerhead off your auger tractor with a hyd. motor and you are in business. Works here anyhow. Good luck, I don't like beans that pop out.
