Maybe this will help.
A) Look for RTS/CTS or something similar on the Trimble config screens. If you find it turn it off. This makes the Trimble wait for a data request before sending the NEMA string.
B) Once per second all I ever used with Sitemate. I don't know what happens if you send a faster update rate.
