How do you do this?  I mean, plant samples on alfalfa are pulled at bud-to-bloom stage.  Are you going to pull soil samples at that stage?  Is this a realistic practice on a commercial field?

Personally, I use my 4-wheeler to pull soil samples, and I am surely not going to run down alfalfa in bud stage in order to get soil samples.  Just my way of looking at it....
