I believe that you are going to have a little bit of trouble with it...BUT IT CAN BE DONE, I believe. I would up the rate of wheat (+/- 33%) ; but more importantly, I would use a variety of wheat that is not as succeptable to Atrazine as other varieties. I can not remember all of them, but I know for a fact that "Scout" is a variety that will 'come up through' Atrazine better than some of the other varieties. I read where Scout and a few other varieties (again, I can't remember the other ones...sorry...seems like there were about 3-4 that did better behind Atr.) come up better behind Atrazine; and I have experienced it, too. Several years ago, I planted Scout and Tam 110 on ground that had Atrazine on it. The Scout came through much better than the TAM. Thank goodness I planted about 75% Scout, and 25% TAM !! (*PS* I tried it, THEN I read about it (about a year later)..I would not have planted the TAM if I had read the article first!)
