Subject: wheat behind corn and atrazine.......

west Tennessee
well I know what the atrazine label says....... but guys, whats your opinion on wheat being planted behind corn, that had 3 pints of atrazine appllied post on 24-30 inch corn about the 20TH OF MAY. there was no rainfall to incorporate the atrazine until about July 1st. have only had about 2 inches of rain since the application.. we are disking the corn stalks behind the combine..... gonna let her sit until about november 1st, then disk her again and sow the wheat. harrowing it off with a do-all. I am assuming we will se some rainfall between now and then or else we wont even plant it.

will I have trouble with atrazine carryover? have you done it? would you?

Dave
