Subject: 50% through on corn harvest: Too good to be true


So far, first 50%, should be as good, no worse than last half, in central LA where 140 bpa is typical, 165 is outstanding and not big corn country, usually not more than 15% of our crop mix and even in this year I am at 10%. So far 203 bpa, dry, and test weights in the 60.7 to 61.8's on 265 acres. NO Aflatoxin either. Makes me feel like parking the corn head for next next and not planting any.

Basis is -58 local, +11 80 mi away at a gulf port.
