Germany
is that rye just seed for cover crop or will it be used as food or forage?
I grow rye for bread flour (sell directly to a specialized mill). My yields come close to winter wheat, and equal that of wheat in an improper crop rotation. The modern varieties are not so tall any more and often combine nicely. I went faster than in wheat and the loss monitor lights did not come on all day. But combining rye is very hard when it´s down!
