Sorry - didn't read the posts above.

 

Anyhow, I have the "Anaconda" - a wired camera that looks out upon my yard. We cannot hear vehicles driving into our yard. This was cheaper than a decent driveway alarm. I have mine set up so the video feed is my screensaver. Can be hooked to a TV too. Can be set up as an internet feed like you want to do. Tried it once, it works, but I have no use for that.

 

I chose a wired camera because I wanted reliability. Like Dave says - at the prices of this X10 stuff, I wouldn't trust the wireless completely. However, I've been using my X10 camera going on 5 yrs now and it has never given me one bit of trouble. It's a cheapie looking plastic little thing, and it's right out on the rain, wind, heat, cold, and snow and I always have a decent enough video & sound feed.
