OK | What are the pro's and con's of concrete feed troughs? I am going to be feeding 20 cows/calves and couple of bulls in the pasture this winter, and found some 10' troughs for $110 @ that they will deliver (http://tulsa.craigslist.org/grd/2668218396.html). Don't know if this is a good idea or not, but looks like they will be pretty solid and the cows won't be moving them around like they would the plastic or cheaper metal troughs that I would have to stake down. Hate to buy them though and find out I should have got something else, so asking here? Thoughts? | |
