Casey IL. ( I -70 ) then south on rt.49
I am like the others do what works for you. As Mark said if you have place to sepperate then it might be cheaper. I like feeding mine a good growing ration so I leave mine in ( meaning together ) tell March then seperate heifers out to grass with the cows and to the feed lot with the others, I have changed my idea about witch one to save some times , I try to breed 15 month old heifers . Sometimes if I have the room I will let the bull and heifers get started the 15 day of May, then turn them back in with cows the 1 of June. By doing this it helps the heifers calve more evon and keeps the more content.
