Saronville NE | I am really surprised how many guys recomend rock behind there aprons, I will never put rock in a pen again, everytime you boxscrape pens or haul manure, you haul some out and have rock in the field then, and all over the lot with the box scraper. Just put a good clay base behind it and fill a little in every yr or so if it gets bad. On our apron, we built the apron up a little and then sloped the dirt away from the apron, so water will run away not sit and if you box scrape or clean aprons just keep the thicker stuff away on a regular basis, it doesnt get deep at all. Just what I would do. | |
