Subject: Cement Apron

Just wondering what the best way to keep the ground solid right off the cement apron of a feed area. I have a 80ft by 80ft pad my cows come up on to eat at the bunks and we all know how that can get in the spring. I am doing some yard work on the pen yet this fall and wondering what I can do to help myself out. It has always simply been a clay pack that we end up digging out every few years to rebuild. Thanks for any suggestions.
