Subject: Introducing Wheat Silage Bales to weaned calves?

Earlton Ontario

Just weaned today. Calves weighing 450-600 pounds. Can I put wheat silage bales in front of them full feed or should I introduce slowly with dry hay????

The silage was very green in the late boot stage when it was baled and wrapped. Around 60% moisture.
