I also would look to trade for a machine that already has a KP. There are getting to be a lot of older SP choppers with KP's selling much cheaper than they were ten years ago.

There was a KP conversion that required frame mods for JD pulltypes, but I don't remember what the company name was... seemed like it started with an L. The Kooima kit did not require nearly as much modification. I think conversion kits are going to be hard to come by anymore because of the availability of older, smaller, cheaper SP's; see above.
