northwest tennessee | That was my point. Look at his $EN and I bet it is way negative. Any bull you see though that has a high YW and WW will have a negative $EN. You may have some cows that are real efficient though and will have great calves. Buying a bull is like someone said above a crap shoot. You never know how it is going to turn out. I really dont like to go much over 20 on milk and not over 25. I used to go higher but would have some cows that were hard keepers. We all want to do the best we can and sometimes you have to stick your neck out and see how it goes. He will probably do fine. | |
