Washington Co Ks | A number of years ago I sold some calves at one of the nearby sale barns. Towards the end the auctioneer said that was it and thanked every one for being there. I felt really stupid as I hadn't seen mine sell. I had both steers and heffers and thought they would both be split into at least two weight groups. How could I have not reconized any of my cattle? About half of the people left and the auctioneer said "Oh wait there's some more". There was maybe ten or twelve more groups sold after that including mine. I couldn't say that it really hurt the price but the place just seemed dead after that. I never went back to that sale barn after that. | |
