South Dakota | They won't drink much when grazing in nice snow. Water every other day might be all they want.
You can drain the hose: Lay hose out downhill, pull slowly over something about 4 feet high.
I did this when lambing in barn during winter. Hose will be stiff when you come back, warm by running water thru. During exteme cold water may freeze before it gets to end, take hose in. | |
