Heifers finish easier and lighter-- other than that either one- with only two heifers I wouldn't worry about heats as long as the bulls aren't around them.
Get them vaccinated and on feed(if you can) BEFORE you wean them
Vaccinate again at weaning
Finish weight depends on what you are feeding(steer/heiffer and small or large framed) and how far you want to take them.You don't "aim" for a specific weight- you are looking for signs of laying down fat and backing off of feed. Fully finished is going to run 1000lbs up to 14000. Or you can just put them up feed them some and when they look tasty eat them- and don't worry about finish.
Full finish will take alot more than a "little" shelled corn.
