New Mexico | perhaps turn that into pasture and run twice as many cows.
Hire your cornstalks baled ( or just buy em ).
Keep in mind some hog operations need to bale their cornstalks to keep mining extra phosphorus and one can generally get good cornstalk bales from those folks.
Grind cornstalks for winter ration and add seep or syrup from one of the local E plants.
( or add seep to bales and cows will eat those without grinding ).
Go to May calfing which cuts your winter cow feed needed by 25 to 33%.
