Callao Missouri
Extremely important to put big rock down on geotex first, then finer material. The big rock provides the base and the fines fill in the cracks so the final surface is very stable.

If only big rock is used it will move around and eventually expose fabric. If only very fine rock is used, when it rains tires, hooves etc will go thru the slop created by the finer material and the water and get to fabric.

Fabric, then 2" rock, then finer material. Don't do it any other way. "the voice of experience."

BTW when by myself I use 2" panel staples pounded thru fabric into ground to hold fabric down b4 spreading rock.
