Saskatchewan, big whitetail country!!! | I'd say weasel probably too. they are small enough to squeeze into a tiny hole, and mean to boot. they also kill for the sake of killing, prefering to eat/suck blood from the head/neck. What I would do is set out one of the bloody heads inside an empty jug or pop bottle with about a 3 inch hole cut out of one end, the cap on the other. Set a normal foot hold gopher/rat/mink type trap at the end with the hole. Place a few twigs upright leading to the trap in front of the hole, thus forcing the animal over the trap. I guarantee if it is a weasel, he can't resist it. |
