Subject: RE: Grazing Rye

North Mo.
grazing and its like wheat on the time of planting the sooner the better. Cereal rye seems to grow faster than wheat, and it needs to be going in soon if not already. If mine had been drilled I would expect it to be coming up now with the .3 inch of rain but laying in a corn field just hope it doesn't sprout and perish. One note of caution you need to clean out all seeding equipment if going to any thing else after or there will be plenty of vol. rye. The local MFA found that out a several years ago with fert. buggies. Ben
