New Mexico
framey 300 to 350 lb calves on em.

Now if we happen to get into some decent Herfy / Herfy cross cows with 425 to 450 lb Blk / Blk Bronkle calves on em, that is feasible too, in the $1,425 per pair range.

I do not expect the market to move much, all that happens in a drouth is the calves get bigger over time and is thus reflected in the pair price.

Keep in mind we're splitting so many calves off cows, there is alot of down pressure on calves here.

Fancy 450 wt weaned black hiefers in the 125 to 135 range.
Steer brothers are 30 over.
All the calves have good weighup, say 50 to 75 lbs extra frame per calf ( even on the pair calves ).
