Subject: Re: Question on distillers grains.

northwest tennessee
We have been using the modified wet and in the past mixed it with gin trash and they have done pretty good. Gin trash is a seasonal thing and would like to find something else to use. We mix it in a reel auggie and this summer have been feeding it straight and with grass have done fair considering the heat they have been in. There just has to be something that would work real well and compliment the distillers at a reasonable price. I like soy hulls but that type of feed is getting high. These are feeders and there will be around 500 eating so need to keep things on the cheap as much as possible.
