Did some reading on a Bud Box and the funny thing is, the end of the alley is a Bud Box... Dad built a system of sorting and working pens similar to this sometime in the early 80's (please keep in mind the picture is only about 70% done as I posted it...). It wasn't a problem for him and one helper (plus maybe us kids) to work 2-300 cattle a day in the spring. The design actually incorporated a lot of Temple Gradin's ideas before she was well known. Dad was definitely a "cattle man" and knew how to work with them. I wish I had learned more from him before he passed, but I did spend many days working around cattle with him.

I'll definitely keep researching, lots of new ideas all the time.
