I feed it and they grow well on it. So far I like it alot better than the Hubbard and Land O lakes pellets I use to use. Their pellets seemed to collect moisture and fall apart very easily.

I had an appointment for a feed guy to come out today and talk to me about a silage based diet but he was MIA so I can't help you on cost comparisons. Best part with the corn/peelt diet is it is almost zero labor. It is nice when we want to get away for a few days and our caretakers only need to stop in to make sure legs aren't sticking up in the air.
