Part of a normal cycle. We here in central Texas are just getting on the western side of the High and have been getting good rain after 7 out of 5 years of drought. I have a friend that works at a commercial weather service. The PDO was what they have been watching. Looks like the south east has several more tough years until the high takes residence off the east coast. Bad news is we are more hurricane prone as the circulation around the high will bring the storms into the Texas coast.
