N IL | we use to have one. it worked ok but was really slow. like 4 or 5 bales an hour!! with diesel that don't work. If the bales were perfect it was ok but if a little tough it would be hard grinding. Also, they dont make knives for this any more so you need to have them custom made and those were never cheap around here. Eventually we quit using it and for about $300 per hour a custom grinder comes here with his haybuster and 550 hp cat engine on a semi and grinds over 40 bales an hour. Much better return FWIW | |
