we plant some every year and fert just like our corn. About 90 units of N. 5-10lbs of seed. 30 inch rows. We have a white planter put 2 rows of sargo and 1 row of corn. (either rows 1 and 6 or 3and 4} Helps hold it up if it tries to go down. yet they pollinate each other.And when cutting with a 3 row head its easy to open terraces. 15- 25ton to the acre. In NE kansas.
