It's been a long time since I spread hog manure out of a pit,1995 to be exact, but was I over in the central IL area today and saw a guy with a tank just spreading it on top. I thought the only way you could spread on top was if the ground was frozen,am I wrong? I was pretty sure what he was doing wasn't really legal but I've been wrong before.
