Eastern Ohio | Here's the problem in Sept a buddy of mine bought 2 bred reg angus cows at a dispersal sale. In Nov one of the cows developed a prolaspted rectum. Took care of that problem, now yesterday he calls me and says the other one has a prolaspted rectum. Then we found out later that another buyer probably 20 miles away has the same thing. Is this a genetic defect or is this a mineral problem. The herd they came from was 100% forage based (NO GRAIN). Any thoughts? Thanks. | |
