| Single BCBS for myself (age 48) 80/20 with $500 deductible is $772 monthly premium. I take 8 prescriptions which it does pay well on after the deductible is used up. With routine medical checkups and the drugs I take usually has my deductible met by the end of April each year.
I did have difficulty with BCBS covering Lovenox post-surgery injections a couple years ago when my pacemaker was replaced. They did pay well on the $21K outpatient surgery itself. | |
