Subject: RE: Rich dad poor dad or dave ramsey?

Sunflower State

I've been leading Financial Peace University Classes for 5 years or so now. I've had the widow millionaire to the broke single mom and every demographic in between (inlcuding people that can speak little English). The results are the same for each. The, more they work Dave's system the more debt free they become. Farmers in general question the debt free theory the most due to the large inputs and expenses. All I have heard Dave say  about ag in general is the need for farmers to keep separate accounts for personal vs farm income and expenses. That way a farmer can tell if the farm is profitable. And as one poster already said "Why buy item X at $XXXX.XX if you can rent it and free up cash that would go to a payment and interest." This is especially true if the item purchased on credit is something that is not used regularly.

Haven't read Rich Dad Poor Dad in several years, need to pick it up again.

Eric
