Grabill, Indiana | Dave regularly states on his show "I don't do debt" in response to borrowing for both personal and business expenses. Admittedly he has no experience with Agriculture but his mantra is consistent: If you can't pay cash you don't need it. One of his comments that I keep in the back of my mind is "Why would you buy a $40,000 backhoe to do a $1,000 job when you can rent it for $500?" How can that apply to a farm?
