Eastern Nebraska | <p>Check with your local hardware store or feed store.... there is stuff you can sprinkle in the yard that is specifically for keeping snakes away.... Also if you take dairy lime and put around the foundation of the house it will keep them out of the house.... I am with you I HATE HATE HATE snakes... poor little defenless things or not.... Good luck.....<br /><br />Edited for PS - These Nebraska gartor snakes are mean... the ones we had where we used to live did not get out of your way and if you made a move towards them they will bite you.... no they are not posionous but it hurts when they bite....</p>
